In 2017, short on capital but long on ambition, Melbourne mates Jake and Dom set out on a journey with a very specific destination: the creation of a natural vodka friendly to the environment, free from artificial additives and, most importantly, 100% Australian.

A bit of trial, a little error, a lot of imaginative experimentation and a couple of hangovers later, the pair discovered that neutral grain spirit laid the perfect foundation while high-grade sugarcane spirit added just the right amount of natural sweetness. You could call it a eureka moment. But we like to call it our Baxter moment.
